Message from Fr. Patrick

Dear Friends in Christ,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce to you my assignment as Parochial Vicar of St. Paul's Parish and Undergraduate Chaplain of the Harvard Catholic Center will conclude on May 31, 2024. Cardinal Sean O'Malley has asked me to take a new assignment within the Archdiocese of Boston on June 1. That date will mark over six years of ministry at St. Paul’s / the HCC, and so I have immense gratitude for the honor of having been called to serve here for this extended period of time. These years have been filled with countless unexpected graces and happy memories.

Alongside the sadness of leaving is also a sense of readiness and anticipation for my next mission; I am eager to bring the many things I’ve gained here to a new setting, to a new set of challenges.

The details of my next assignment are still being worked out, so I will share that with you once I am able and once the priest I am replacing knows his next assignment. I look forward to continuing advancing our mission at St. Paul's and the Harvard Catholic Center these next four months.  Please know of my prayers for you.

Yours in Christ,

Fr. Patrick
